33406 253-3123 Sept. 20-21 By Associated Press Buster Mathis, 300-pound heavyweight boxer from Grand Rapids, will make his home debut Thursday night in a six-round match with Bob Stall-ings of Freeport, N.Y. It will be Mathis' first start in the United States after three bouts in Canada. Mathis won the national AAU heavyweight title in -1964 and the Olympic trials. But he suffered a broken right hand while training and was not able to participate in Tokyo.

Joe Fra-zier, another Americar, eventually won the title. Amos (Big Train) Lincoln of Los Angeles and Roberto Davila of Peru will top a Thursday show at Los Angeles with a 10-round heavyweight match. MM.
