Dave Vatamaniuck helps Remo Lepetich at the counter. WITH A few changes here and a bit of rearranging there, Frank's Supermarket has provided more convenient, customer service. "We changed the layout so customers could easily find what they are looking for," co-owner, Dave Vatamaniuck, said. Dave and his wife Helene, have also added a hard ice cream service with many flavours to choose from.

Their coffee bar, a favourite with many customers, has been expanded to include a wide variety of sandwiches and fresh deli items. The inventory Frank's Supermarket's is constantly changing to reflect the demands of the customers. "We have tailored the items we stock, especially hunting and fishing, to respond to customer demands," Dave said. The store also carries one of the largest selection of knives in the north. Hunting, pocket, WITH THE phone ringing in the background, Mike Wootten passes instructions to the tradesmen on the job as he heads to the feed warehouse.

Quesnel Ag Parts, on Ferguson Road heading south, is a busy place. They are in the middle of an expansion which will add a machine shop and extra warehouse space. Steven Wootten, who is a certified automotive machinist with ten years experience, will be equipped to repair farm equipment both on the premises and on the field, as well as heavy duty engine work. Mike is looking forward to working with his brother. "Steven has been involved in the business from the beginning, but working elsewhere," Mike said.

"Now he will be working here." They are hoping to have the construction completed and the equipment installed soon with a projected mid-August opening. "I'm looking forward to offering the same high quality service in my new shop," Steven said. He specializes in complete cylinder head rebuilding and fly wheel grinding. Quesnel Ag Parts is now a licensed pesticide dispenser. With a pesticide storage facility on the premises, they can carry a full range of products.

In their continuing effort to meet the needs of the farming and ranching community, Quesnel Ag Parts' well stocked shelves carry livestock feed and supplies, tools, parts, fencing and publications. If you don't see it in the shop, Mike can access inventory anywhere in the world. Quesnel Ag Parts is a strong community supporter and proud sponsor of the Kersley 4-H Club. Ranchers themselves, Mike, Steven and their families understand the needs of the farming and ranching community. kitchen and the very popular multi-purpose knives can all be found at Frank's Supermarket.

Included in their stock of quality clothing customers will find a large selection of Choko snowmobile wear. "We carry a good selection of children's Choko wear, as well," Helene said. Heading into the hunting season, customers can also look to Frank's Supermarket for a good selection of and ammunitions. And don't forget to pick up your licences, as well. For just this season, Dave keeps a supply of scents, calls, camping gear, camouflage clothing and hiking boots.
