Ritchie Birmingham; born in Richmond Hill, N.Y. He was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Kenneth and Ritchie He was owner and President of Frank V. Cooper Co. in NY; a third degree Mason, and a 59 year member of-Floral Park Lodge; life member of the United States Coast Guard Power Squadron. He was an Eagle Scout and a Scoutmaster.

After moving here in 1979 from Garden City, NY with his wife, he became very active in activities at Imperial Point where they lived. He was president of the building he lived in for several years; president of the Imperial Point Property Owners Association and president of the Imperial Point Condo Association. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marguerite (Marge); two sons, J. Rodman Birmingham and his wife, Elisabeth W. of East Gran-by, CT, and Herbert A.

Birmingham, Jr. of Onancock, VA; two grandsons, James R. Birmingham, Jr. and his wife, Georgina of Water-bury, VT, Scott I. Birmingham, East Granby, and a great grandson, Jamie A.

of Waterbury, VT. HARTLEY Rita 82, of Palm Harbor, FL, formerly of Lonaconing and Annapolis MD, died Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Manor Care Skilled Nursing Facility, Dunedin, after a brief illness. Born in Lonaconing on August 19, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Daniel "Kenny" Logsdon and Mary "Mae" (Barry) Logsdon. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy Keyes, Eleanor Shea-ly, Monica Mason; and two brothers, Jack Logsdon and Patrick K. Logsdon.

Mrs. Hartley was an employee of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. She was a graduate of Central High School, Lonaconing. She belonged to the Sweet Adelines of Annapolis, MD and sang in many theaters in the United States and Europe, including before the Queen of England in 1977. She was also an active member of the Annapolis Fleet Reserve Club for many years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin, FL Survivors include her two sons, Barry M. Hartley of and Michael J. Hartley of Myrtle Beach.SC; a sister, Marianne "Bootie" McGreevy of Palm Harbor FL; two grandchildren, Heather M. Thomson of Fairfield, PA and Melissa D. Hartley of Rockville, MD; and three great-grandchildren, Braden, Rebecca and Allie Thomson of Fairfield, PA.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin on Saturday, March 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Madden as celebrant. A reception will be held at West Winds Club House, located at 3301 Alternate Rt. 19 after the service. Clearwater Funeral Homes, Dunedin, was in charge of arrangements.

Palm Harbor RIX, EDMUND 89, of Palm Harbor, died Friday (Feb. 20, 2004) at St. Mark Village, Palm Harbor. He was born in Tyler, and came here in 1979 from Columbus, Ohio. Survivors include his wife of 67 years; a son, Steven C.

Safety Harbor THOMPSON, LEOTA "LEE" 82, of Safety Harbor, died Thursday (Feb. 19, 2004) at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. She was born in Wabash County, 111.,, and came here in 1955 from Allendale, 111. She was homemaker and a member of Briar Creek Social Club, Safety Harbor. Survivors include two daughters, Billie Poteak, Tarpon Springs, and Kathy Gibson, Palm Harbor; and three brothers, Ray Grad, Mount Carmel, 111., Leo Grad, Henderson, Texas, and Max Grad, Indianapolis; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Tarpon Avenue Chapel, Tarpon Springs. School System in Ohio and she was the co-owner and operator of Mihlbaugh Appliances in Brookfield, and Sharon, for 25 years. She was a graduate of Ohio University and she was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Clearwater, Order of the Eastern Star Hartford Chapter 518, Ohio, Retired Teachers Association, past Regent Daughter of the American Revolution, Chesney Chapter, and an associate member of the DAR Caladesi Chapter, Dunedin. Survivors include three nieces; and three nephews.

Dunedin GANNON, RICHARD 77, of Dunedin and formerly of Seminole and Largo, died Sunday (Feb. 15, 2004) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was born in Block, came to Seminole 1997 from Binghamton, N.Y., moved to Largo in 2000 and to Dunedin in 2003. He retired as a librarian at SUNY University in Binghamton.

He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was Catholic and a member of Cross Bayou American Legion Post 252, Seminole, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Moose Lodge in Binghamton. Survivors include two sons, David, Endicott, N.Y., and Richard, Red Creek, N.Y.; a daughter, Nancy Jackson, Owego, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. Lewis W.
