"Natural oil, coal and electric power are essential to keep industry operating at full capacity," Rhodes said. He said Ohio has enough natural gas underground to keep jobs open "for the working people of Ohio." "We will propose a new permanent seven-member Ohio Energy Development Authority. This new authority will bring the efforts of government and industry together in the development and use of energy resources in Ohio." Noting that the Ohio River carries more traffic than the Panama Canal, Rhodes said cities along the river were undeveloped "to take advantage of containerization and deep river transportation. We can attract new business and industry with new ports offering modern facilities." Rhodes said he would propose a constitutional amendment to form a permanent housing authority which could use methods to provide bousing. "We intend to invest at least $500 million in new housing corv stractcn, at no cost to the taxpayers cf Ohio," he said.

"This will create thousands of new jobs for Ohioans." Saveto 50 i On Selected Toys Check Our Bargains In Housewares And Save!
