He suffered the heart attack last Sunday. It was only six weeks ago that Mr. mother died at Kitchener, Ont.

Also surviving are his second wife, Lillian; and another daughter, Mrs. Neil Campbell of Ontario. His first wife, who was the mother of Mrs. Schack, died 13 years ago today. Mrs.

Schack is leaving today for Waterloo to attend funeral rites. Armour Co. Workers Reach Settlement CHICAGO (UP!) An agreement Monday night headed off a threatened strike by 15,000 Armour Co. workers in 27 plants across the country. The agreement was expected to be a pattern for the meat packing industry.

Union officials said strikes scheduled today at the other companies Swift, Wilson, Cudahy and Morrell probably would not be called because of the Armour settlement. Federal mediators hammered out the agreement after an all-day bargaining session with the company and officials of the United Packinghouse and Amalgamated Meat Cutters Unions. Predict 450 Will Die In Traffic Over Holiday CHICAGO Americas last fling at summer vacation fun may be the last flins, period for 450 motorists, the National Safety Council said today. The council predicted that 450 persons may be killed in one of the biggest traffic Jams in the history during the Labor Day week end.
