STORK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL BAINBRIDGE CLUB Forty-nine members answered roll call at the regular monthly meeting of the Brainbridge Home Demonstration club held in the community room of the Dubois County State Bank on Tuesday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by the president, Mrs.

William Steffe, and the minutes and report were read. Plans were discussed by the members for an exhibit to be put up at the County Fair in Huntingburg. The two delegates to Purdue, Mrs. William Steffe and Mrs. Don Weyer, gave their report of the various meetings and lessons they attended during the Homemakers Conference in June.

A special meeting was announced for all who are interested in cake decorating. The meeting will be held in the community room of the Dubois County State Bank on Wednesday, July 22, at 8 p.m. FoUawmg a delicious lunch served by Kirs. Kuhkei and her committee, the favorite game was played with special prizes going to Mrs. Bill Hemmerlein, Mrs.

beginning at 11:00 a.m., and the turtle soup that has made the St. Meinrad picnics famous, will be served. Hand-made quilts will catch eye, and children can enjoy the pony rides and novelties. Amusements, games and attractions for all ages will make this an enjoyable day for the entire family. Music by the St.

Ferdinand High School, and the St. Meinrad Grade School Bands, will float over the shady picnic grounds from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. Eckerle and Kenny Schaefer will be the respective directors. Patrons are welcome to visit the century old historic St. Meinrad Archabbev.

The scooped neckline was fastened down the back with tiny covered buttons.

The waist was emphasized with a silk taffeta bustle in the back. The billowy skirt fell in a chapel train. Her fingertip veil of imported illusion was caught to a dainty Mary Queen of Scots hat. The hat fashioned of Alencon lace was outlined with seed pearls and featured a single tear drop pearl accent over the forehead. She carried a cascade of white daisies and ivy strands with sprigs of white and mint green stephanotis intermingled throughout the bouquet.

Serving the bride was her maid of honor, Miss Donna Fleck. Miss Fleck was dressed in white nylon sheer organdy with full ballerina- lengfch skirt over net and taffeta underskirts. The bodice had a scooped neckline with cap sleeves and a wide band of flocking pastel miniature flowers. The skirt had a deep band of matching flowers, The crushed cummerbund of nile green taffeta formed a huge bow in the back giving a bustle effect and draped to the hemline. The picture hat was of nile green to match the cummerbund and shoes of the same color.

She carried a cascade of white daisies and ivy centered with mint green daisies. Mrs. Kenneth Ackerman, close friend, served as bridesmaid. She was dressed identical to the maid of honor. Little Miss Deborah Schnaus, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

She was dressed the same only she carried a basket of white daisies with ivy leaves. She wore a tiara at the back of which was placed a cluster of daisies and stephanotis. The bridegroom chose his brother, David Kress, to serve as best man. Allen Fleck, brother of the bride, and Kenneth Ackerman, close friend, served as ushers. Daniel Fleck, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Fleck wore a pink jacket dress with white accessories and a White carnation corsage. Mrs. Kress wore a pale green dress with white accessories and a white carnation corsage. Breakfast for the wedding party was served at the home of the godfather, Mr.

and Mrs. Ben Fleck. A reception was held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the VFW for the relatives and friends. For her going-away outfit Mrs.

Kress wore, an aqua colored dress with white accessories and a daisy corsage lifted from her bridal bouquet. The couple are residing at 310V2 W. 4th St. Mrs. Kress is employed at Fashions and Mr.
