The film originally had been scheduled for production on the continent.

"Blue Max," a $3,000.000 production, will be directed by John Guillermin. By ALI SAR Universal Studios hosted a breakfast press conference over the week end at the Ambassador Hotel to present a panel which consisted of a trio, headed by veteran moviemaker Mervyn LeRoy. The purpose was to plug LeRoy's "Moment to Moment," currently before the cameras. Other panelists included Jean Seberg and Honor Blackman, who star in the film. Miss Blackman perhaps represents the ideal example of the most spectacular zoom to stardom in recent years.

Her role of Miss Galore in the James Bond movie "Goldfinger," made her an overnight star. Miss Seberg, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, had become a star at the age of 17 and she is identified as the favorite of French "new wave" directors. When asked about her impressions of Hollywood, Miss Blackman answered, "In England Hollywood is built up as a town full of night life. "I found Hollywood a town of many hard-working people." Miss Blackman also conceded that if it weren't for "Goldfinger" she probably wouldn't be here today. "I think Bond pictures are marvelous," said Honor.

"They don't take themselves seriously, yet they provide all the elements of suspense, action and romance." Miss Seberg revealed that she would like to make more pictures here, but she still prefers to continue residing in Paris.
