Ambrose Wilz Sheriff of Dubois County .118.18 DALE (MRS. B. J. KUNZ) Allen Brooner who is currently serving a four-year enlistment as an operating room technician in the United States Navy and is stationed at Navy Hospital, Camp Lejeune, N.C., received notice last Saturday that he was to be sent to Egypt on Monday. The Egyptian government has asked the help of the United States in clearing explosive mines out of the Suez Canal which were placed there during the Egyptian-Israeli conflict.

Brooner will be one of a surgical team which will be standing by in the event of any casualty resulting from the operation. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brooner and is married to the former Debbie Anderson of Rockport. Mrs.

Brooner will remain working with retarded children at Camp Lejeune while her husband is in Egypt. Timothy Clark of Michigan returned to his home after spending a few days here with his grandmother, Mrs. Hilary Grundhoefer and Mr. Grundhoefer. Mr.

and Mrs. Larry Knott and family of Clarksville, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Knott and family and Mr. and Mrs.

Max Jones and son of Evansville, spent the Easter holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Knott.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Schum of Costa Mesa, are here for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schum.

Miss Deann Conner of Jeffersonville spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Narl Conner. Mr. and Mrs.

Roger Taylor and family of Greentown spent several days last week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Dougan, of here, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Taylor of Lincoln City.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kaiser have returned from a visit in Carrolton, with their son and family, the Roger Kaisers. Mr. and Mrs.
