Her favorite the exhibit however is one of her cousin, Russel McPherson. Miss Rich received third rating in Poppy Poster Contest, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. She had several selections entered in the scholastic art award contest held in Decatur, by the Linn Scruggs Department Store the past winter.

Miss Rich has studied art for the past two years, and attended Monticello Art Camp last sponsored by the Federated Women's' Club. She plans to attend Southern Illinois University next fall to train fot: teaching. Viona is a granddaughter of Marlin Rich, who is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mt.
