1954 TEN YEARS AGO Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Evans left Tuesday morning on a trip to New Orleans, La. The trip came as a prize In a sales contest conducted by the Kelly-Ryan Company of Blair, Nebraska during the month of February. Sponsored by the Clarion Civil Air Patrol, the Webster City Chamberof Commerce Male Chorus will present a concert at the school auditorium Tuesday night at 8 o'clock.

The concert will be an hour and 20 minutes in length. There will be no admission charge but a freewill offering will be taken. The chorus comes to Clarion without charge and receipts will go entirely to the sponsoring organization. Mr. and Mrs.

William E. Hanson have purchased the house owned by Dick Mc-Gonigle located at 720 Second St. N. W. They will take possession June 1.

Mr. and Mrs. McGonigle hope to find a place closer to the school. Although spring officially arrived Saturday night at 9:45 winter paid this part of the state a return visit Wednesday morning with a mixture of rain and snow.
