As soon as the training period has been completed he will head for overseas. Veteran of service in the Marshalls, Saipan and Hawaii, TSgt. Conley Williams, son of Mr.

and Mrs. A. P. Williams, of 207 W. Emily is home for a visit from the convalescent hospital at Miami.

He has been in the hospital at Miami for three weeks. Williams has been overseas three years with the medical corps. CpL George Guida, husband of Mrs. Frances Guida, of 3209 La Salle is somewhere in France with an engineering group. He was stationed a year in England before hitting the mainland of Europe.

Habana st, recently became a second lieutenant after completing bombardier training at Carlsbad, N. M. Coxswain Henry Fagen, son of T. J. Fagen, of rural Tampa, is down in the Marshall islands.

He has been overseas eight months of his year in the navy. A promotion to private first class has been given Sidney E. Maddox, son of R. H. Maddox, of Center Hill, who is with the Eighth AAF service command in England.

He is a member of the supply division and has been in the service since July, 1942, and overseas since October, 1943. Lt. Jack C. Woodward, of Lutz, is the pilot of a navy fighter plane, flying from a carrier of the Essex class in the Pacific. Formerly a patrol and scouting pilot, he switched over to fighters recently.
