Crom. He left Sunday morning for Minneapolis where he will spend the summer in the home of a son, Malcolm Keck. (Mr. and Mrs. Crom accompanied by Mr.

Keck spent Memorial day at Washta and Grand Meadow. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shearer of Onawa spent the week end visiting among relatives here. Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Jensen and daughter Anita Ann wf Des Moines spent the week end visiting in the parental Will Krick home and with other relatives. Louise Moore and Mrs. Rose Casey of Des Moines spent the Memorial week end with their sister Mrs. J.

E. Garner and with other relatives. Mrs. Casey returned to Des Moines on Sunday but Miss Moore remained for a few days and will return home today. Mr.

and Mrs. L. L. Cramer, Carol and Douglas of Ames for a week end of visiting and fishing. They all returned home Sunday night.

E. W. Beck drove to Fort Dodge Friday night for a visit in the home of their nephew John O'Brien and family. On Saturday they were accompanied by the O'Brien family to Charles City to visit relatives. Mr.

L. W. Pierce and family. He has heen rehired to the same position for next year. Mr.

and Mrs. Duane Lacey took their daughter Olive and a friend from Mapleton to Omaha Sunday where they have secured employ-men. They were 1953 graduates from Mapleton high school. Pvt. Ronnie Jensen of Ft.
