Carlos Leon, the proud papa of the pop diva's new offspring, recently shot the scene in which he will appear as the owner of a car detailing shop on the action series. He apparently had a great time doing it, but there was no word on how Hollywood's latest thespian did. Still, if a pretty safe bet that the network is planning to promote the heck out of it. He can win the next trick, draw trumps and take his ten tricks.

South's contract of four hearts looked as safe as a U.S Treasury bill. It turned out to be as secure as a door bolted with a boiled carrot. West got off to a good lead, the ace of spades, hoping for a later trump promotion. His plan worked better than it deserved when South ruffed the next spade and led the king of trumps. West won and led a club.

East took the ace and led the king of spades; and South, who had started with ten solid winners, could make only nine. If South ruffs low, West overruffs; if South ruffs with an honor, West later gets the setting trick with the nine of trumps. "I should discard a club instead of ruffing the second spade," South said. "No good," North replied. "He just leads a third spade and puts you in the same fix." To make the contract, South HBO has signed former Saturday Night Live come to move on.

If not that she's minded playing second-fiddle to a young kid named Urkel for the past seven years even though the series was a spinoff of her own character from Perfect Strangers but that she considers it time to do something new after such a long run in one role. She says her contract is up after this season, and that at this point she's not planning to renew. Then again, she's not the first to make such a statement Roz Kelly, the actress who rose to fame, of sorts, as Fonzie's buxom girlfriend Pinky on the 1970s series Happy Days, is back on the tube but not in an acting role. She recently appeared on an installment of Judge Judy, a syndicated series in which the jurist makes on-air rulings in the People's Court tradition. Well, it seems that Kelly feels her career was all but ruined by a leaky breast implant, and she asked the judge for sympathy and some money.

She insists that the leaking silicone is poisoning her body, and that she is no longer able to go out on casting calls even for commercials. How'd it turn out? You'll have to watch the show to find out. No airdate has quite been set. If that guy guest starring on the Dec. 1 1 episode of Nash Bridges looks a little like Madonna's new baby, dian Chris Rock to host a late-night talk show beginning in February.

The network has committed to five weekly shows of The Chris Rock Show so far, to be presented live from New York. HBO original program' ing president Chris Albrecfrt said the half -hour show would have a monologue, an interview guest and a LOS ANGELES Attorney Johnnie Cochran star of last year's highly rated O.J. Simpson murder trial, is turning TV star. The well-mannered, well-spoken barrister apparently found fame to his liking, and has signed on to host a nightly television show on Court TV along with Atlanta prosecutor Nancy Grace. Cochran Grace, as the show is tentatively titled, will take a look at on-going cases and legal issues in a Crossfire sort of fashion, with the two hosts discussing and debating cases that are in the news and sometimes talking with outsiders about legal issues.

Cochran, who got his TV feet wet last year as a legal commentator for CBS and then NBC, reportedly has signed a three-year, multimil-lion dollar contract with the cable channel. He will continue with his law work while taping the show. JoMarie Payton-Noble says it doesn't matter if ABC decides to renew Family Matters for yet another year she's planning to walk after this one. The beloved actress, who plays the matriarch Harriette Winslow on the long-running and very successful family sitcom, says she has enjoyed the run but feels if time for her musical guest but that the program would try to estab lish its own identity with trademark comedy sketches. Laura Herring will play Sunset Beach's Paula Stevens, who will be involved with Hank Cheyne's Ricar-do.
