"We're running into snags," Mac- Donald said. "We're trying to do a location now, but we're not having any success. The parents aren't here. They may be in Regina or Saskatoon. Christopher Smith, 19, of Meadow Lake, was handed the sentence Thursday in Court of Queen's Bench on a charge of second-degree murder.

Justice Isadore Grotsky said the killing was done in a "cold and callous," manner. Smith expressed his remorse to both the family of the victim and his own family.
