Couple Says Vows At Lena Miss Lorraine Broge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Broge of Winslow, and Stanley Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Jones of Lena, exchanged nuptial vows at 2 p.m.

Aug. 30 in Lena United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joe Summers officiated at the double-ring ceremony, for which music was provided by Mrs. David Schultz, organist, and Terry Scheider, soloist.

Two white wicker baskets of lavender and white gladioli decorated the altar, which was flanked by two seven- branched candelabra tied with ferns and white bows. Carries Orchids, Roses The bride wore a gown of sheer nylon and lace over cotton sateen, with long, lace flared sleeves. Her fingertip veil, edged in lace, was held by a lace rosette headpiece. She carried a cascade of lavender cymbidium orchids, pink Sweetheart roses, white miniature carnations and babies'-breath on a white Bible. Miss Deborah Hybarger of Winslow was maid of honor, and Miss Stacey Bruce of Lena and MiSs Kathy Mann of Winslow were bridesmaids.

They wore gowns of lilac dotted swiss over cotton and wide-brimmed hats to match. They carried nosegays of purple asters, pink miniature carnations and babies'-breath. The maid of honor's bouquet was accented with pink Star- flowers. Flower girl was Dawn Copus of Winslow, who was also in lilac dotted swiss. Her white basket was filled with' pink anfl lavender rose petals.

Reception At Church Michael Hybarger of Lena was best MRS. STANLEY JONES man, and groomsmen and ushers were Brian Mani, Denny Heer, Terry Wee- gens and Shelvan Heid. Eric Scheider of McConnell was ring bearer. Double white bells, joined with purple bows, and a purple wedding tree decorated the serving table for the reception in the fellowship hall of the church. Miniature lavender carnations floated in the cake fountain.

The bride, a graduate of Lena-Winslow High School, is employed by the Hoffman House in east Rockford. The bridegroom attended Lena-Winslow High and is employed by Salberg Sons, at Loves'Park. The couple is living at 401 Hubbard Winslow. Honeymoon Trip Taken To Mackinac Island The wedding of Mrs. Bonnie Nielsen, daughter of Mrs.

Carol Edwards of Elgin, and John Heidenreich, son of Mrs. H. L. Heidenreich, 1506 S. Oak and the late Mr.

Heidenreich, took place Aug. 9 at First United Presbyterian Church in Elgin. A spray of carnations and a rose decorated the Communion table. The Rev. William Clark performed the double-ring ceremony.

Organ music was played. Mrs. Heidenreich, given in marriage by her brother, Lee Meyers, wore an ivory chiffon gown, trimmed with a band of pink and green embroidery, and a shoulder-length veil. She carried white carnations and pink roses in a cascade bouquet. Attendants Her sister, Mrs.

Michael Karst of Elgin, was matron of honor. She wore a pink gown with a jacket. The flower girt, Tracy Heidenreich of Sussex, wore an ivory gown with flower embroidery. Both had headpieces and bouquets of white carnations and pink roses touched with babies'-breath. Ted Heidenreich of Sussex was best man, and ushers were Michael Karst and Mahlon Schweitzer.

Scott Nielsen of Elgin was ring bearer. A reception followed in the Church parlors. Home At Elgin Mrs. Heidenreich attended Elgin High School and is a scheduler at Hills McCanna in Carpentersville. Her husband graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S.

in physics. He is a quality control manager for Hills McCanna. The newlyweds traveled to Mack- mac Island for their honeymoon and are living at 466 Stella Elgin. Showers-Gadow Wedding Vows Recited In Brodhead Church Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Connie Mae Ga'dow and Leland Showers Jr. at 2 p.m.

July 12 in the Brodhead, United Methodist Church with the Rev. Amos Shimko officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orvel Gadow of Brodhead.

Mr. Showers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Showers Sr. of rural Monroe, former Orangeville residents.

Vocalists were Miss Donna Gadow and Danny Wallace. They were accompanied by Miss Kathy Peterson. Crown Holds Veil The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an Empire gown of sheer, organza with Venise lace trim, with a deep flounce at the hemline. A pillbox crown held her cathedral mantilla edged with lace, She carried yellow roses, white, carnations and ivy on a white Bible.

Attending her sister as maid of honor was Miss Jill Gadow, and bridesmaids were Miss Donna Gadow of Brodhead, Miss Anna Showers, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Julie Yaun of Brodhead. The maid of honor wore an apricot knit gown with white Venise lace bib, collar and cuffs. The bridesmaids wore similar gowns of nile green. Each wore a matching picture hat and carried a long-stemmed yellow rose. Serving as best man was Leland Leopold.

Groomsmen were Jeff Williams and Tom Erb, both of Monroe, and Wayne Barker of Orangeville. Ushers were Jack Gadow and Eugene Showers, brothers of the couple, Ronald Nenneman of Brodhead and Charles Koch of Monroe. A reception followed in the church hall. The couple took a honeymoon trip to South Dakota. The bride is a graduate of Brodhead High School.

Her husband is a 1974 graduate of Monroe High School and is employed by Iroquois Foundry in Browntown, Wis. They are living at 1602 14th Brodhead.
