BRIDGEPORT TELEGRAM, Thursday, May 10, 1973 Board of GBLC Backs Oneita Boycott, Protest The executive board of the Greater Bridgeport Labor council last voted support (or np- proximately 1,000 sinking Smith Caroiina textile workers, by endorsing a boyeolt, as well as a demonstration scheduled Tor Saturday. The boycalt is directed against clothing goods manufactured by the Onella Knitting company. The GBLC executive board voted to "urge nil union members in our area to support these workers In their struggle for economic justice and dignity on tltc job."
