kidneys filter the blood. They work and day. When healthy they remove about 600 grain of Impure matter dally, when unhealthy some part of this Impure matter is left la the blood. This brings on many diseases and symptoms -pain In the back, headache, nervousness ho! dry skin, rheumatism, gout, gravel, alsorders of the eyesight and bear-I dizziness, irregular heart, debility, drowsiness, dropsy, deposits in the Hue, etc. But if you keep the filter right you will have no trouble with your kidneys.

LEMarbut, of 1803 Ave. Birmingham, says' "I had been using other medicines for the kidneye before I took Doan'a Kidney Pil but my back had continued to ache as it was being pulled apart, and some of the time I could hardly get about at mv work. The secretions from the kidneys contained a sediment and passages were irregular. Death of Mrs Lallie Reynolds Jennings in Mississippi. The sad news reached Tuscaloosa yesterday of the death at AUrdeen, Miss of Mrs Hugh Jennings, formerly Miss Lallie Reynolds. Mrs Jennings as Miss Reynolds frequently visited Tuscaloosa when her brother, Hamilton Reynolds, was located here as Passenger and Immigration Agent of the 0 and she was director of music for the greater part of the first two sessions of Dr Giles' presidency of Central College. She was extremely popular here in society and was greatly admired by all who knew her. She came of a family exceedingly prominent in Mississippi and combined with the gentle breeding and graces of mind and person inherited from a long line of distinguished ancestry, the sweetest and most noble individual traits of character.

Gifted with much loveliness of face and figure, a beautiful voice and many other accomplishments, she was better than all lovable good, true. She was one of the most lovely types of genuine, refined southern womanhood and none who came within, the sweet sphere of her influence could fail to admire and love her. She married shortly after she left Tuscaloosa, Mr Hugh Jennings, a prominent citizen of Water Valley, and this devoted husband, with a loving mother, sister and three brothers are left to mourn her loss. Tuscaloosa friends will extend to them their sincerest sympathy. YMCA'i Is Fifteen Thousand Votes In the Lead.

It was in the secom half, however, that 'Varsity showed I 1 ml ner nietiic. liie mptists were powerless In-fore tho terrific attacks of the piHH'dy Jones, the dauntless Curtis and the merciless Burks. For some unaccountable reason Alabama utt not show ner proper form in the first half and was un able to score. In the second half, though, 'Varsity more than evened things up. Their appetites were sharpened by the result of the first half and they went after their prey with a veiigencc.

un tne nail in nowaru pos session, on their ten yard line, Ala- oa ma scoreu two points, when a wild pass sent the ball over the goal. It was then only a few minutes before a touchdown and Foster's kick added six more points to the total. By this time, the blood of the Alabamians was up and it took only a little while to repeat the stunt, leaving the final score 14 to 0. Alabama showed excellent defensive work in the first half when Howard was held for clowns with the ball in two yards of the goal. The bucks of "Alabama in the latter part of the last half were simply phenomenal, the backs going through Howard's line with apparently little trouble.

In addition to the work of Alabama's back field, which is par excellence, the playing of Foster and Franklin in the line was at times brilliant. It may be safely said that from the work of their respective teams here, Howard has a stronger aggregation than Maryville, against whom Alabama succeeded in making only six points. Alabama's line up was as follows: Moody, center; Burks and Donald, guards; Franklin and Neill, tackles; Foster and Garrett, ends; A Burks, left half back; Jones, right half back; Curtis, full back; Hannon, quarter back.
