Ninety 4-H members from 65 counties were gathering at Camp Mitigwa, south of Boone, Thursday for a renewal of the annual state 4-H conservation camp. Half of the delegates are girls aid half boys. The camp will close Sunday. Emphasis will be placed on conservation of natural resources throughout the camp period.

Discussions of soil conservation problems, bird hikes, forestry information, weed identification and talks on wildlife will be featured throughout the program. The campers also will participate in a full program of sports and recreation. Sunday morning they will hold a sunrise service with Ray Cunningham, secretary of the Iowa State college Y.M.C.A., speaking. Delegates to the camp were selected from a list of nominees submitted by county 4-H club committees.
