Church Newcomerstown. The bride-elect will graduate from River View High School in 1993.

7th wedding of Beth Ann Varney, daughter of Karl and Beulah Varney of 116 Clark Ave. of Heath, and Douglas Paul Yaw, sun of Paul and Andrea Yaw of 20517 CK 6, Coshocton. The Rev. Mark Richardson officiated for the 3:30 p.m. wedding ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a gown of crystal fantanza and silk Venise lace with a sweetheart neckline, renaissance sleeves and fitted dropped waistline with pleated gathers and beaded lace applique. The full skirt was accented with gathered ruffles and extended to a semi-cathedral train of cascading ruffles. Maid of honor was Saundra Wright. Bridesmaids were Alana Cable, Renee Auther-son, Rose McElfresh.

Junior attendant was Mary Elizabeth Yaw. Best man was Christopher Yaw. Groomsmen were Scott Eaton, Trevor Davis, and Tim Bradford. Ushers were John Varney and Scott Powell. The reception was held at the GMP Hall Newark with the parents serving as hosts.

Presiding over the guest book was Julie McCul-lough and Michelle Roe. The bride is a 1988 Heath High School graduate and the bridegroom is a 1988 River View High School graduate. Both are 1992 graduates of The Ohio State University with bachelor's degrees in business marketing. He is employed by Alliance Shippers. The couple spent their honeymoon in Chicago.

They are residing in Cincinnati. and Mrs. William Griesen of Stone Creek. The bride is also the daughter of the late Warren L. (Sonny) Hanenkrat Jr. The Rev.

Glenn is the son of Marjory Cochran Kinkade of Coshocton Dwight and Esther (Ridgley) Gay celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Dec. 12 at Prairie Chapel Educational Hall with a party.

Their children served as hosts. The couple were married Dec. 21, 1952, in Byesvilleby the Rev. Smith. Dwight is the son of the late Wilmer and Faye Gay.

Esther is the daughter of Harold and Grace Ridgley of Byesville. The couple have four child and the late I larold Kinkade r. Sally is the daughter of Marjorie Scott of Augusta, Maine, and the late Hubert Scott. They have two children: Elizabeth Anne Kinkade, and the late Jeffery Scott Kinkade. They also have two grandsons, and a daughter-in-law, Amy Jo Campbell Kinkade of Newcomerstown.

Glenn is a teacher at River View Junior High School. Sally is a medical assistant for Dr. M.S. Lee of Coshocton. ren: Colleen Kirker, Dale Gay, Cheryl Matthews and Candy Dayton, all of Coshocton.

They also have 10 grandchildren. Esther graduated from Byesville High School and is a home-maker and a baby sitter. Dwight graduated from Cambridge High School and retired from the Marines after 20 years of service. He is employed at Columbus Southern Power. The couple are members of Prairie Chapel Church.
