Petersburg. McBEE, GERTRUDE "GERTIE," 89, of Pinellas Park, died Wednesday (Sept. 6, 1989) at University General Hospital. She was born in Pennsylvania and came here in 1960 from Washington, D.C. Survivors include a sister, Jessie Entwistle, Sykes-ville, a brother, Benjamin Price, North Huntingdon, and a nephew.

National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg. OTTENI, PHILIP 70, of Venice since 1978 and formerly of Gulfport, died Friday (Sept. 8, 1989) at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Bay Pines. He was born in Erie, and came here in 1955 from Gardenia, Calif.

Locally, along with his son, Noel, he operated the family business, Apollo Plumbing Co. in Gulfport, since 1968. During World War II. he served in the Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Venice and was a former member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 5131, both in Gulfport.

He also was a member of Knights of Council 7997, North Port. Survivors include his wife, Nanette; a son, Noel, Seminole; a sister, Mildred Funk, Erie, and three grandchildren. Each part shall be bid separately and each shall be awarded separately. A description of the required work activities Is as follows: PART A -STORM SEWER OUTFALL LINE CLEANING AND INSPECTION. The work included In this part consists of the Internal cleaning of existing reinforced concrete pipe storm-water outfall conduits discharging to Clearwater Harbor for the purpose of restoring the hydraulic effectiveness of those lines. Equipment to be used shall be capable of physical removal of marine life Incrustation of the Interior of concrete pipes having diameters of 12, IS, and II inches. Nine separate outfall lines are proposed to be cleaned.

Total estimated length of lines to be cleaned Is 11S6 lineal feet. The contractor shall employ television camera equipment capable of Inspection, and video tape recording thereof. Interior areas of the pipelines subsequent to completion of the cleaning activities. Proposals for performance of work in Part A shall be made on forms furnished bv the City. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of prices quoted, experience record of the bidder and time stated for completion of the work.

No bid bond is required. PART CONSTRUCT STORM WATER OVERFLOW SWALE The work Included In this part consists of re-grading a side yard easement to provide a swale over a stormwater outfall line. Specific Items of labor and construction include temporary removal and replanting of I wo small trees, a wooden fence gate removal and replacement, excavation, removal and disposal of an estimated 22 cubic yards of soil material, finish grading of a defined swale section, re-sodding approximately 170 square yards of disturbed lawn area, constructing a slot and a reinforced addition to the top of an existing concrete seawaH cap. The work Is primarily labor and supervision. Only small excavating or materials handling mechanical equipment may have access to the work site.

The proposal for performance of the work in Part shall be made on forms furnished bv the City. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of prices quoted, experience record of the bidder and lime stated for completion of the work. No bid bond is required. All work to be performed In Part A and Part shall be accordance with specifications andor drawings prepared bv Franklin Engineering, Limited, Consulting Engineers. To be considered for award of either, or both parts, the bidder must submit his proposal so as to be received at the office of the Mayor, 444 Causeway Boulevard, Beiieair Beach, Florida not later than 1040 A.M., DST, September IB, 1969.

Loescher, a guest minister at Christ United Methodist Church, died in 1976, she moved to Sun City, where she set up and managed a regional office for volunteers to work in the development office for Arizona State University City.
