He moved here in 1966 from his native Minden City, Mich. He was a farmer. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Largo.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ruth, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Frances a son, Joseph, Largo; four daughters, Patsy Keeler, Reno, Nevada; Audrey Majestic, Garden City, Joan Schock, Houston, and Barbara Julie, Oxford, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchilren. He came here in 1949 from his native Rockford, 111. He was a tool and die maker and an inventor. He was a member of the Suncoast Evangelical Free Church, Tarpon Springs. He was a past commodore of the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club. He was a past president of the Rotary Club, Tarpon Springs.

He was a past member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife, Beulah three brothers, Curtis and Raymond, both of Pennsylvania, and Howard, Lehigh Acres; a daughter, Betty Sanoretti, Seminole; two sons, Robert Medford, and Carl Macungie, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was born in Brunswick, and came here in 1962 from Baltimore. He worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He came here in 1976 from his native Baltimore. He owned a liquor store in Baltimore. He was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7 Turner-Brandon, Clearwater. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Baltimore.

He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Radiance; a sister, Marion Byrnes, Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews. Baty Funeral Home, Safety Harbor. He retired in 1971 as chief tools engineer for Pitney Bowes Stamford. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church and a member of the church's Holy Name society, Glen-brook, Conn. He was a member of the American Society of Tool Engineers, Stamford. He was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, Clearwater Chapter.

Survivors include his wife, Anna four sons, Thomas E. Ocala; Brian Norwalk, John R. Starks and Thomas P. Starks, both of Chicago; four daughters, Maureen A. Deppen, Newtown, Atala C.
