Beginning lht summer, changes will be made to offer visitors an informative and interesting presentation on the American legal system in the early 1800s. Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village are open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is separate for each facility.

Admission is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6-12, $5.50 for senior citizens and free for children under 6. engine drives a millstone to grind corn into cornmeal at the Loranger Gristmill. Visitors will also discover what it was like to shop in the 1870s at the Elias Brown General Store. Another type of store is represented at Mrs.

D. Cohen's Millinery and Fancy Goods. This urban store of the 1890s sold hats, fancy work, men's furnishings and other specialized items. The 19th century had a less colorful but more dynamic side as well, and Greenfield Village includes a look at that. It was an age of industrial growth.
