Durio, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Clovis Durio of Eunice, Louisiana and the former Louise Myers of Eunice, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Genevieve Church. She is survived by her companion Linda Flores of Lafayette, LA; two sisters, Linda D. Touchet of Lafayette, Jeanine Kibodeaux of Eunice, LA; two brothers, Larry Durio of Moss Bluff, LA, and Ronald Durio of Eunice, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Kristaan Cory Kibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at The Academy of the Sacred Heart Chapel in Grand Coteau on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Eugene Parker Loftin, age 94, a native of Bastrop, LA, a longtime resident of Lafayette, LA, and a current resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Mr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard. Entombment will be held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum in Broussard. Reverend Louis Richard, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 7:00 PM in Martin Castille's SOUTHSIDE Location. The family requests that visitation be observed on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 7:00 AM until time of services.

337-984-2811 Punkie as she was affectionately called, loved Dora the Explorer, Baby Jaguar, guacamole, playing outside, and wearing mommy's jewelry. Camille is survived by her parents, Taylor and Angelle Begnaud; her godparents, John and Kami Horn and Michael and Shelley Niette; her aunts and uncles, Cortney Begnaud, Keri Niette, Clint and Christie Bascle; her grandparents Rebecca Begnaud, Toby Begnaud and Julie Butch and Claudette Bascle, Michael and Susan Niette. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, CM. "Buck" and Gloria Thornton, Theophile "Toby" and Laura Begnaud, Claude and Pearl Bergeron, Jacob and and the importance of family. She moved to Lafayette in 1947 where she worked for Superior Oil and later for KVOL, where she met the love of her life, Tom Pears.

Tom and Laura were married in 1951 and raised four children. Laura loved the Lord, first. She lived a life of service to her children, her family, her friends, and to her community. She is described as the backbone and the heart of her family. An eternal optimist, Laura's attitude and laughter were contagious.

She had a joy of life that was evident to all she met. Laura was instrumental in starting the Needy Nook at Asbury Methodist Church and worked tirelessly to give back. She also gave of her time coordinating the matinee performances of the Lafayette High School musicals and was very active in her childrens' schools. Laura and Tom loved ULL. They looked forward to football and basketball games ana were avid supporters! They set up the Pears Athletic Endowment with the ULL Athletic Department.

Laura loved tennis, golf, and being near the water, especially at her camp in Holly Beach. Above all, Laura cherished her family and friends. Laura is preceded in death by her life-long love, Thomas G. Pears Jr, her mother, Nellie Greene Langlinais, her father, Lovelace Langlinais, and her brother, Paul Langlinais. She is survived by her children, Thomas Pears, III and his wife Karen Froeba Pears, Michael Pears and Karen Anderson, Kelley Pears, and Tracey Pears Ardoin and her husband Jeffrey Ardoin; her grandchildren, Austin Breaux, Madeline Pears, Emily Pears, and Thomas Pears IV.

She is also survived by her sisters Eugenia Langlinais Wench and Myrna Langlinais Abraham, and brothers Lovelace Langlinais and Michael Langlinais. Services will be held at Delhomme's Funeral Home in Lafayette. Visitation will be on Wednesday, the 29th of June from Visitation will continue on Thursday, the 30th of June from until the time of the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service will follow at with burial after at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
