John Grove as assisting hostess. Mrs. J. E. Batschelet presented the lesson and Mis.

Mary Edna Gardinei led devotionals Refreshments were seived. The Ruth Circle enjoyed a cooperative luncheon at one oclock at the home of Mrs. C. E. Tallman.

Mrs. Lettie Brumbaugh had charge oC the lesson. The Martha Circle also enjoyed a pot luck luncheon at one oclock at the home of Mrs. Sam Raymer. Mrs.

C. A. Abbott presented the lesson and devotional period. GLENN SHROYER HOST AT DINNER PARTY Wednesday evening. Glenn Shroyer, assistant postmaster at the Guthrie Center office, took the other postal employees to Des Moines where they were entertained at a dinner party at Johnny and Kays.

BRIDGE CLUB PLAYED WEDNESDAY Wednesday night, June 23rd, spent all her life, with the exception of the last ten years, which were spent in Guthrie Center. On January 1st, 1880, she was married to J. P. Ansberry; to this union three sons were given, all of whom preceded her in death. They were James Edward, Fred and Isaac Vernon.

On April 24th, 3901, Mrs. Ansberry was married to Eugene Kennedy, who preceded her in death, February 26th, 1931. Sarah Kennedy leaves to mourn her passing three' daughters-in-law, Mrs. Edward Ansberry, Mrs. Vernon Ansberry, and Mr.
