Ushei were Stanley Spies and Marvin Yennick. All of the men in the wedding party wore navy blue suits, matching ties and a white rose boutonniere.

Marilyn Yennick, sister of the bride, and Joyce Carstens, a con- sin, lighted the candles. They wore dresses of pastel blue taffeta and wrist corsages of blue and white poin-pons. Also strands of pearls. For her daughters wedding, the bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with white trim and navy accessories. The bridegroom's mother also wore navy blue "with pink trim and navy accessories.

Both had gardenia corsages. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception held in the church pailors. The bride's table was decorated three shades of blue and centered with a four- tier wedding cake baked by Mis Herman Phade of Manning. Miss Augusta Miller, great aunt of the lnde cut the cake. Helen Hanson, a cousin of the bridegroom, poured.

Mrs Fred Allman of Atlantic, served the punch. The bridal party were seated at a table decorated with white dies with blue trim and with the bridesmaids flowers. Esther wilt be missed by many as she has been the night telephone operator for 28 years In Shelby- She was known as the "voice with a smile 1 At the age of one year she was stricken with the dread disease of polio which left her entirely helpless. Her courage and determination helped her overcome her infirmity and she met life with a smiling face.
