"If people will be coming out here to see sexy outfits, they will be disappointed," said Mitch Wheeler, a Chiefs official.

The new squad will wear traditional college-style cheerleader togs. Instead of performing only hip-swiveling dances, the new "Chiefs Cheerleaders and Yell Leaders" will flip, jump and shout. Police say they want to talk with the impostor, but no criminal complaint has been filed. The impostor surfaced in Youngstown on April 13 when he telephoned Nathan Clark, president of a local civic coalition, PRAY, and offered his help.

The man identified himself as Gentry and said he had learned about the group from Garcia Lane, a Youngstown native who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. Lane, who had never met the real Gentry, later became suspicious and contacted a friend, Shaun Gayle, a Bears' cornerback. Gayle gave Lane a description of the reaj Gentry that didn't match that of the impostor. Ken Valdiserri, director of media relations for the Bears, said the real Gentry has been made aware of the situation.
