Several criminal cases were disposed of during ihe day. Judge Tally presl les with ease and dignity, and enforces ordar and decorum In the court room. Judge Tally is one of the youngest judges on (he Circuit bench in ttio State. He is now fi ling bis second term and has by his promptness im partiality and abili'y earned an enviable leputation throughout the State as a good lawyer and a good Judge. Uuntsville Mercury.

She was a most excellent lady and devout christian. She leaves many relatives and friends to mourn her death, While out sleighing during the snow, one of Scottsloro's popular young men had the misfortune to run over a big stump, breaking off one of the runners and nearly upsetting the sleigh. He and his fair companion had to urn atoot. Moral, never be too happy to look out for stumps. The beautiful snow.

He is associated with Messrs." Bridges and Homer Reed in this enterprise, and the pros pects are that they will nuet with splendid success. Way land, as we prefer to call him, richly deserves abundant success. He is pains taking and scholarly.
