The party is for members of the Masonic lodge the 0. E. S. and their families. Parcel Post Shower A parcel post shower will be held this evening at St.

Anne's parish hall when guests 'will Bel admitted by presenting a parcel for the parcel post booth which will be conducted in connection with the annual bazaar sponsored by the members of the congregation next week at the parish hall. Cards and bunco will be played and refreshments will be served. The public is cordially invited to attend. The articles donated must worth not less than a quarter. Card 'Party Success Although St.

Anne's hall was not packed Friday evening, the committee in charge are very well pleased with the results of the donations received at the parcel party which was sponsored by members of the parish as a preliminary to the annual bazaar which will be held next week. Several of guests purchased an article jointly thereby donating a larger and better article for the bazaar. Honors in bridge went to. Mrs. 0.

Marriage Announcement Mrs. Cecelia Fish. 219 North Fifteenth street, announces the marriage of her daughter, Marie, to Philip Perron of Chicago. The ceremony performed at Chicago Thursday. November 14.

Mrs. Perron is visiting her mother. at the present time and Mr. Perron will join her in a few days. Surprise Birthday Party Mrs.

Frederickson, on 323 South Thirteenth street, whose birthday anniversary falls on November 21. called up a number of close friends last week, inviting them to her home on her anniversary. Somehow, everyone whom she invited had an excuse for not accepting the invitation, stating they had a previous engagement. Somewhat discouraged. Mrs.

Fredrickson gave up the idea of "celebrating the anniversary and when the same friends whom she had called came to her home Thursday evening unexpectedly, she was (taken completly by surprise. Mr. Gunter has disposed of Gunter's Cash Market which he conducted here and is opening a meat shop to be known as Gunter's Market in Detroit.

Mr. Gunter has been in business in Gladstone for the past seven years. Herman Wendall, who has been associated with Mr. Gunter in the market here for the past three and a half years is taking over the business. Live fish have been found by artesian well borers 200 and 300 feet beneath the burning sands of the Sahara Desert.

Harding, Harvard varsity football end, who suffered a rupture of the spleen in the Yale game Saturday was reported as improved at the Stillman infirmary late today.
