Flach, training teacher of Delta county nor- nud, 4-H CLUBS AT POTATO SHOW Special Prizes Will Be Offered to Boys and Girls Potato growing as a 4-H club and Smith Hughes school undertaking ranks first in the crops projects program of Michigan State college extension forces. In order to stimulate greater interest in these projects, and with a view to improvement in the quality of upper peninsula potatoes, the directors of the Upper Peninsula Potato association have authorized very liberal prizes in these departments at the first annual Cpper Peninsula Potato Show The show will be held in the new exhibition building, state fair grounds, Escanaba, October 23, 24 and 25. Boy and girl members of 4-H clubs have an exceptionally good opportunity to win money at this show. Each club which consists of fixe exhibitors wi'l have a chance to sweeten its finances. Seven prizes are offered to the clubs having the best exhibit, ranging from $10 first prize to $2 seventh prize.

Each club individual can win b.Vj bringing a sample of sufficient merit, $3 for first prize. $2 for second. $1 for third, und 50 cents for other winners In addition to this the club members may exhibit in the open class for clubs in both late and early varieties. First in the late class will win $10, and there are ten other prizes. First in the all-other variety class will receive $5.
