Virginia and SAYINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF CLEARWATER mm ZEPHYRHILLS Chief of Police W. R. Elland, at the Tuesday night meeting of the Zephyrhills City Council, presented his police department re port for 1966. During the year police cars traveled 71,582 miles, 504 ar rests made. The department provided 292 escorts and con ducted 417 investigations.

ACCIDENTS for the year to taled 133, with two fatalities. In 1965 there were 156 accidents, none fatal. In December police cars trav eled 6,107 miles. The depart ment, made 47 arrests provided 20 escorts. Police officials conducted 44 investigations.

Council also heard the record of all persons charged during 1966. UNDER FELONIES, the fol lowing charges were made: for auto theft one; for burglary (breaking and entering), two and for forgery, one.
