JPage. GREBLEY TRIBUNE Aug. 21, 1971 Mr. and Mrs. Lynn White Celebrate Golden Anniversary The family of Mr.

and Mrs. Lynn (Mary) White were hosts at a celebration for the couple's 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 15, in the beautiful Towers Lounge of 11 Community. While is a patient in the Bonell Nursing Home and Mrs. White resides in one of the Bonell apartments.

Lynn White and Mary Sier- mah were married in a small wedding ceremony at the home of her mother, Mrs. Eva Sierman, near Aug. 17, 1921. After a honeymoon in Minnesota the newlyweds made their new home on his farm miles from Briggsdale, where they resided until moving to Greeley in January, 1970. Unusual was the fact that six persons who were guests at the wedding were present for the golden anniversary event.

About 100 people were served refreshments from a table covered with a lovely lace cloth over gold and cenlered with a beautifully decorated Ihree- i anniversary cake. Numerous floral arrangements 'A family dinner for 20 at the Farm Fare Restaurant, Lucerne, completed the day's activities. from friends lounge. A "history decorated the in pictures" depicting bits'of their life along the 50 years of marriage was arranged by Lillie Johnson and Bob White, proving of interest and enjoyment to many. Family members present to honor the Whites were their son and family, Mr.

and Mrs. Bob While and children of Briggsdale, and others coming from out of the stale including Mrs. White's sister, Mrs. L. D.

Johnson, Aurora, a niece, Mrs. Lee Carver, Berea, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. 0. D. (Florence) Hawley, San Pedro, a daughter, Mrs.

S. W. (Nancy) Mullen, Micki and Pat, Boonville, N.Y.; a daughter-in-law who is a minister, Rev. Kafheryn White, and a grandson, Bryce While, both of Banning, a granddaughter, Mrs. G.

W. (Jean) Dixon, Fresno, another granddaughter, Mrs. R. E. (Lynnda) Davis, husband and children, Karin, Russell II and Amber, Lake City, Fla.

Candelabra on either side of the altar were complemented with multi-color bouquets surrounding the altar and were lighted by Frank Howell and Kobert Decker. White satin ribbon was draped between the pews accented with multi-colored nosegays. The bride entered on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage. She was attired in a white silk organza gown in Victorian styling with high fitted collar of shirred ribbons, short matching sleeves, and ribbon detailing the center front of the gown, the hemiine and chapel train. Her silk illusion elbow-length veil was caught to a profile-style headpiece ol while lilacs and white velvel bows.

She carried a nosegay of white roses and daisies. Five Bridesmaids five a a Jacqueline Sfeese, Granada Hills, as maid of honor, Kathleen Ohler, Newbury sister of the groom, as natron of honor, and Sharon Kelsch, Susan Schrader and Mary Gorrell, all of California, as bridesmaids, were similarly dressed in maize dotted swiss featuring empire waistlines, full flowing skirts, slight scoop neckline and leg-o- mutlon sleeves with cuffs trimmed with yellow and while daisy decor which also accented ihe 'waistline. They wore large Horsehair hals in matching color and carried baskets of multicolor flowers. Linda Lesh, similarly dressed, was flower girl, and Kirt Ohler was the ring bearer. Jeffrey Nelson was best man, and James Ohler, Robert Decker, Frank Howell and Dennis Jones served as groomsmen.

All are from California. Among the 150 guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Lesh from Pierce. The bride was educated in California, receiving a B.A.

degree in psychology from San Fernando Valley State College where she was affiliated with Theta Sigma Tau Sorority. Her husband is also a graduate of the Northridge, college with a B.S. degree in engineering. He is presently serving as Petty Officer, 3rd Ciass, in the United States Navy at Kauai, Hawaii. After a week's tour of the coast of California, the newlyweds will make their home in Kekaha, Kauai, Hawaii.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was altired in a floor-length gown featuring a filled bodice and A-line skirt of white bonded lace, wilh long puffed sleeves of sheer lace. The same lace was repeated on her chapel-lengfh veil, held by a yellow daisy headpiece. Her colonial arrangement of orange camelias and ivy was tied wilh white streamers.

The bride's gown and veil, as well as her going away atlire, was made by her mother, Mrs. Stanley Turnbull. For her role as matron of honor, Mrs. Charles Frost, the bride's sister, was attired in a floor-length gown wilh a yellow, orange and green flower prin and green daisy trimming a the empire' waist. She carried Ian arrangement of orange net daisies and ivy made by Mrs.
