By LUCY WARE MORGAN Of The Time Staff BAYONET POINT Publix Supermarkets will open its 175th store today at Bayonet Square as the new shopping center opens its doors for customers for the first time. Publix and its adjacent Danish Bakery will open today with ribbon cutting ceremonies at 9 a.m. TWO OTHER stores in the center McCrory's Variety Store and Beall's Department store will open next week. The new Publix, most modern in the Lakeland-based chain, will include all of the usual Publix features.

Roland E. Hausen, a former assistant manager at Publix stores in Tarpon Springs and Clearwater, is the manager of the new store. Hausen, 30, has been with the Publix chain since 1959. He and his wife, Laura, and four children plan to move to Pasco County. PUBLIX WILL have 75 employes working in the new store.

Jim White, a Beall's employe for about five months, has been named manager of the new Beall's Store which will open for a trial run Monday. The store will have its grand opening a week from today. White, 41, is originally from West Virginia, but has been in Florida about 10 years. He and his wife, Alice, and four children live in Port Richey. THE NEW Beall's store is the 11th in the Bradenton-based department store chain.
