An example of the concept would entail Wyoming businesses operating power plants to create electricity and ship it to states in the West that need power. Sniffin said he is not in favor of a state income tax under any circumstances. The state must, however, reexamine its current tax structure.

"I'm still studying the whole tax structure of Wyoming," Sniffin said. Overall, Sniffin said he has strong ties to Jackson Hole. "I have a real kinship with Jackson Hole," Sniffin said. "I know a lot of people here. I love coming to Jackson Hole.
