Karyn Edwards Wins Career Voman Award THURSDAY, MAY 6, 1971, JACKSON HOLE GUIDE 5 1 The Wyoming Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs has named Karyn Edwards of Jackson the State Young Career Woman of the Year. Miss Edwards will represent the state federation at the national BPW convention in Cleveland in July. She is Teton County extension agent. She was selected from among nominees of 20 clubs around the state. The honor goes to a woman under 26 years old with significant achievement in her career field and community ac tivities.

Personal qualities and character also are considered. The Jackson BPW cited her ability to train persons to teach others in home economics, ability to work with youth, her imaginative variety of talents, high personal standards and integrity. Miss Edwards was graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Delta sorority, Soroptimist Club, Cow-Belles, St. Ann's Guild and St. John's Bible Study Group.

The Teton County Fair Board and Teton Barrel Racers announced this week they will sponsor a contest to choose the first girl to hold the title. The council was organized to provide communications channels between the schools and parents and to make parents more aware of trends in education. The required bid guarantee is $3,400.00. All included timber shall be given domestic processing. Bidders are advised that voilations of the domestic processing requirement constitutes breach of contract and may result in contract cancellation, or refusal to award timber sales to the violator, or debarment or suspension from bidding on future timber sales. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
