Since the album's release, he has opened concerts for performers such as David Bowie and the Hooters. Fans looking to welcome their local hero home can catch Burtnick at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park tonight, The Cat Club in New York Tuesday, the 23 East Cabaret in Armore, on Friday, Jaa 22, and the Birch Hill Club in Old Bridge on Saturday, Jan. 23. Meanwhile, Hoboken's Cucumbers are busy touring the country in support of their new album, "The Cucumbers," whose spinoff single, "My Boyfriend," has been getting moderate-to-heavy rotation on MTV these days.
