Billy Paultz added 20 points for New York, Larry Ke-non had 17 and Taylor finished with 15. Gilmore was Kentucky's leading scorer with 30 points, half of them in the tight fourth period. Jones added 23. The victory gave New York a four-game winning streak and snapped Kentucky's three-game winning skein.
