Rhodes died Feb 7 at Ihe Oktibbeha County Hospital. She was a native of Winston County and was a member of Wake Forrest B.iplisl Church. Mrs. Rhodes was a housewife. Survivors include three daughters.

Mrs Louise I'allersiHi and Mrs. Hazel Smith, both of Sturgis and Mrs. Mary McKay of Clarinden. Iowa; five sons. William Rhodes and Jimmy Rhodes, both of Memphis.

Horace Rhodes of Bessemer. Hubert Klwdes of Milwaukee. Wise, and Charles Rhodes of Louisville; four sisters. Mrs. Kale Prescolt of Tupelo.

Mrs. Lucille McCarty of Sulhgnet. Mrs. Cordie Sword of Aberdeen and Mrs. I.ol.i Kubanks of Louisville and 2i grandchildren and 33 Ureal grandchildren Grandsons of Ihe deceased served as pallbearers.

Survivors include a son.

He was an attorney and a native of Attala County and was the husband of Mrs. Virginia Patterson Carlisle ul Ackerman. He was a member of the Ackerman Methodist Church. Mississippi and American Bar Association. Rotary Club.

Shriner. American Legion and a veteran of World War II. Survivors in addition to his widow are two daughters, Mrs Mary Jacquelyne Evans of Ackerman and Ann Carlisle of New Albany; a son. William T. Carlisle of Ackerman; two sisters, Mrs.

-Martha Oden of Joppa. Ala. and Aim Oieeshratigti'' of Pittsburg, two brothers. Cain Carlisle of Portland. Oregon and James Carlisle of Kingston, N.H.; three grandchildren and a host of relatives in Winston County.
