Pharos-Tribune, Logansport, Indiana, Sunday, November 21, 1993 Page C3 Weddings Anniversaries Wittig, McKaig Exchange Vows In Outdoor Ceremony Sandra M. Wittig and Robert E. McKaig were married Saturday, Aug. 14, 1993, at 5 p.m. in a private ceremony held in the backyard of Mr.

and Mrs. Allen McKaig, Logansport. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony were the Revs. Daniel Eckart and Tim McKaig. The bride is the daughter of Eugene and Marjorie Wittig, 1066 Lawndale Court, Greenwood, and the bridegroom is the son of Edward Sr.

and Betty McKaig, Rt. 1, Logansport. Mr. Wittig escorted his daughter to the altar. Maid of honor was Deborah Wittig, sister of the bride, Malang, Indonesia, and bridesmaids were Karen Wittig, the bride's sister, Indianapolis, Patty Collins and Maureen Cook, the groom's sisters, Morgantown and Peru, Angela McKaig, the groom's niece, Logansport, and Stephanie Wittig, the bride's niece, Mcdellin Colombia, South America.

Edward E. McKaig brother of the groom, Rt. 1, Logansport, was best man, and groomsmen were Roger McKaig, the groom's brother, Logansport, Tim McKaig, the groom's cousin, Thomtown, and Mark, Jon, and Peter Wittig, all the bride's brothers, of Colombia, South America, Greenwood, and Elgin, S.C., respec- lively. Eight nieces and nephews of the bride served as mini-attendants and walked down the aisle preceding the bride. Marie McKaig, the groom's niece, Logansport, was flower girl, and Luke Wittig, the bride's nephew, Colombia, South America, was ringbearer.

Music was provided by pianist Karen Pettet and vocalists Marti and Jeannie Wittig, the bride's sisters-in-law. Ushers were Matthew, Mark, and Darren McKaig and Cason Wittig. Jan McKaig, the bride's sister-in-law, Logansport, registered the guests, and Susan Wittig, the bride's sister-in-law, Elgin, S.C., registered the gifts. After the ceremony, a reception for 150 guests was also held. Linda McKaig and Sue Cook assisted.

The bride has a bachelor of arts and master of arts degree in English as a second language. She is employed as the director of English at ACES Airlines in Medellin, Colombia. Her husband has a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from Sandra (Wittig) and Robert McKaig Purdue University. He is self-employed as a farmer at Chapel View Farm. A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom's parents at Webb Chapel United Methodist Church.

Billiard, Russow Married In Candlight Ceremony Bridget Kristine Billiard and Michael Raymond Russow were married Sunday, Nov. 7, 1993, at 3:30 p.m. at Ninth Street Christian Church. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Jim Beaumont.

The bride is the daughter of A. Kent and Glenna Billiard, Rt. 1, Logansport, and the bridegroom is the son of Dan and Judy Russow, Rt. 4, Logansport. Mr.

Billiard escorted his daughter to the altar. Misty DueValle, the bride's sister, Logansport, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Decker, 1132 High and Holly Richter, Rt. 1. Best man was Nelson Noble, Logansport, and groomsmen were Pat Dowell and Steve Russow, the groom's brother, both of Logansport.

Music was provided by organist Robbin Mix. Eric Billiard and Brian Wood were the ushers and also lit the candles. After the wedding, a reception was given in the church basement. Assisting were Martha Ja- soski, Marsha Gellinger, Darla Stewart, Susie Iskander, and Joan Piercy. The bride is a 1992 graduate of Pioneer High School.

She is employed as the diving coach at Maconaquah School Corp. Her husband is a 1983 graduate of Logansport High School and -Is employed at Elco Industries. The couple spent their honeymoon in Merril- Iville and Chicago, 111. Bridget (Billiard) and Michael Russow Mayfield, Brady Exchange Vows In Double-Ring Ceremony Vicki Lynn Mayfield and Bret Mitchell Brady were married Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993, at 1 p.m.

in Forest Park Baptist Church, Forest Park, Ohio. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Raff Berry. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Melvin Mayfield, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Brady, Burnettsville. Mr. Mayfield escorted his daughter to the altar.

Venicia Mayfield, the bride's sister, was maid of honor. Kevin Gross. Monticello, was best man. The flower girl was Ashley Carter and Adam Mayfield, son of the bride, was ringbearer. Gina and Lisa Harris were hostesses.

The ushers were Mathew DeWitt and Joseph Heath. Music was provided by organist Pamela Stemerick. After the wedding, a reception for 100 guests was held at the Cincinnati Fire Museum. The bride is a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, Her husband graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

He has sewed in the U.S. Air Force. The couple honeymooned at Culver Cove on Lake Maxinkuckee, They are living at 5816 Access Road, Dayton. and Mrs. Fred C. Gast, 709- 16th will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 7. Fred Gast and Dorothy Hiatt were married at the home of her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Archie Hiatt, Star City. He retired as an engineer in 1975 after 37 years with the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail. She operated a beauty shop before the couple moved to Logansport. The couple have two children, Shirley Thomas, Logansport, and Robert, Rochester.

They also have two grandsons and two great-grandchildren. A son and a granddaughter are deceased. They have lived in Logansport for 5 years and have been members of First United Methodist Church for 50 years, During the winter, they reside at 928 N. Colonial Circle, Daytona Beach, 32117, and part of their Dorothy and Fred Gast summers are spent at their Bruce Lake cottage, built by Mr. Hiatt.

To celebrate their anniversary, the couple took a trip to Branson, Mo. They will be honored with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 at North Colonial Park, Daytona Beach, Fla, Cotterman 50th Vance and Florence E. Cotterman, Rt.

2, Galveston, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25, Vance Cotterman and Florence Smith were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 1943, in the Grace Evangelical Church in Royal Center. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Walter Adams.

He is retired from Haynes Satellite of Kokomo, and she is a homemaker. The couple have two children, June, Galveston, and Dale, Indianapolis. They also have two grandchildren. Florence and Vance Cotterman Conrad 30th John and Marcia Conrad, 2313 Myers Lane, will observe their 30th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23.

John Conrad and Marcia Gilsinger were married Nov. 23, 1963, by the Rev. Thomas Fox at St. Vincent dePaul Church. He is president of City of First F.C.U., Kokomo, and she works part-time at Crystal Flash.

They also own their own networking business; The couple have three children, Jeffery and Jason, both of Logansport, and Tamara Drummond, Cape Canaveral, Fla. They also have three grandchildren. One son is deceased. Marcia and John Conrad Hershberger 25th Mr, and Mrs. Monty Gene Hershberger, 503 Mobley will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m.

on Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Logansport Shrine Club, 415 High St. Gene and Dian were married Nov. 29, 1968, at the home of the Rev. Skelton.

He is retired from Transportation and is working for the city of Logansport, and she is employed at Controls, inc. The couple have one daughter, Tracie Clark, Logansport. He also has one son and three daughters, Tony Hershberger and Lory Hughes, both of Logansport, Sherry Risley, Royal Center, and Candy Tuttle, Winamac. She has three daughters, Christina Craig and Vickie Black. Woodke 25th Larry and Carleen Woodke, 101 N.

Railroad Lucerne, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, with a party and dinner given by their daughters at the National Guard Armory. Larry Woodke and Carleen Rittenhouse were married Nov. 22, 1968, in Trinity United Methodist Church, Royal Center. He is employed as a meat packer at Wilson's, and she is employed at J.C. Penny.

The couple have two daughters, Tammy and Tina, still at Gene and Dian Hershberger both of Logansport, and Jackie Hamilton, Randallstown, Md. They also have 14 grandchildren. It is requested that gifts be omitted.
