This past summer she worked as a i a I artist at HemisKair. A native San Antonian. Stella was graduated 1910 from the College of Industrial Arts, now Texas Woman's University. She attended College on a scholarship to her by Miss Myra Brackenridgc. Stella ioves to tell how she acquired the in her name, leaving college, she went to New York City to study art with Paul Henri.

Contemporary Art Group. San Antonio Art U'ague. Texas Fine Arts Society, Iho All Illinois Society of Fine Arts and the Wisconsin Painters and Artists. She has won numerous awards including the first purchase award at the Witte Museum given by the San Antonio Art League. This prolific painter maintains a studio in Brackenndge Park and a studio in the backyard of her own home.

"1 love to paint beautiful things, she says. She is particularly fond of "beautiful trees. After painting, her second love is gardening. Plants and flowers of all varieties hold a great enchantment for this artist. "I like people, and I like nature." she adds Stella Tylor's i in travel has never ceased.
