She won the title because of poem a take- off on the "'Night Before Christmas" which she wrote expressing Santa's appreciation for chiropractic treatment and, more particularly, by L. L. Talley, Neosho chiropractor.

Her poem, 10-verse jingle, was printed and illustrated in the December, 1962, issue of the magazine. Peggy Gray, now a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic, was formerly a receptionist for Dr. Talley. Last year she ed testimonials from several of Dr. Talley's patients and with these has made a Golden Rule Book for Dr.

Talley's Christmas gift. Among these testimonials was Pat Dave's poem. Leadership Clinic At Local Church ANDERSON (Special) The WMU Leadership Circle will be held at Northside Baptist Church, Neosho, Dec. 10 and 11. The meeting Monday begins at 9:30 a.m.

Johnson Franks Vows Exchanged Carolyn Sue Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rubottom, Sarcoxie. and Barry Franks, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Franks, Neosho, were married in a ceremony Nov. 17 at the home of the bride's parents. Rev Arthur Ballard of Joplin officiated at the ceremony in a setting of bouquets of fall flowers. The bride, who was given in, marriage by her father, wore a light blue jersey dress, brocaded with satin thread. Her accessories were made of a matching shade of blue satin.

Attendants for the couple were Mrs. Kenneth Brooks, sister of the bride, and Lang Franks, brother of the groom. A reception was held following the ceremony. A white and yellow color scheme was carried out. The serving table featured a three-tiered wedding cake.
