MONDAY, APRIL 29, 1963 Rutgers Professor Awarded Guggenheim Fellowship in -tine Dr. Francis Fergusson, university professor of comparative literature at Rutgers University, is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship award for 1963, it was announced today by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation in New York City. He is one of 269 recipients of JpWWWPW)8B rJj I JI I 1 this year's Guggenheim Fellowships, which annually go to schol ars, scientists and artists of unusual and proved creative ability in the fine arts.
