Ogden Standard-Examiner Wednesday March 22 1972 Los Angeles to Most owl -r -v A HONOLULU Los Angeles will host Super Bowl VII on Jan 14 1973 The home of the pro football Rams was chosen as the site of the next pro football spectacular Tuesday by the National Football League at its annual meeting here The NFL also tabbed Houston and its Rice Stadium for Super Bowl VIII on Jan 13 1974 It was the first time that the owners had selected a city for the annual battle between the champions of the American and National Conferences two years in advance NFL Commissioner Pete Roz- elle said the Pro Bowl the annual all star game between the two conferences that had been played in Los Angeles since its inception in 1951 would be moved to another city next year The game will be played Jan 21 1973
