The Wesleyan Service Guild and Mrs. Jack Watson, Mrs. Roy Roberson and Mrs.

T. J. Cross served as hostesses for the occasion. The chosen cuiors of the honoree, pink and white were used in the floral arrangements in the hall. The honoree was presented with a corsage of white pompons accented with seed pear! hearts.

The mothers of the be trothed couple, Mrs. Edwin Me. Kenzie and Mrs. Raymond Grinder were given corsages of white pom-pons. Mrs.

J. Short and Mrs. M. N. McKenzie grandmothers of Becky and Mrs.

T. I. Matthews sister of the prospective bridegroom were also presented white corsages. Mrs. Frank Mann presided at the guest book which lay on a table covered with a pink satin cloth, adorned with a nosegay of white flowers.

The gift table also covered with pink satin held an arrangement of late summer flowers in the chosen colors. White roses, stocks, and ers in a beautiful arrangement formed the center piece for the serving table. Silver candelabras held pink tapers at either side of the flower arrangement. A pink satin cloth covered the table. Mrs.

Johnnie Roberts presided at the punch bowl and other hostesses alternated in serving dainty refreshments to the over fifty guests in attendance. Van O'Dell Gets Scholarship MAGNOLIA Van S. O'Dell son of Mr. and Mrs. J.

S. O'Del of Buena Vista, has received $250 academic scholarship to Southern State College for according to Bernard Polk, director of student aids. A freshman political science major at Southern State, O'Dell is a 1966 graduate of Stephens High School, where he was president of the National Honor Society and president of his class for three years. C. D. Tutt of Rt. 1, Camden announce the marriage of their daughter, Linda Gayle, to James A. Christie, son of Mr.

David Langley Now Serves In Vietnam SOUTH VIETNAM (Special) -Marine Private David A Langley, brother of James W. Langley of 927 McCullough Camden, Ark. is serving with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Regiment, 3rd Marine Division of the Fleet Marine Force just south of the Demilitarized Zone in Vietnam. He is participating in Operation "Prairie" which utilizes Marine ground forces along with heavy armor, air and artillery support, which has accounted for over 280 enemy dead. PERSONALS Mrs.

Lillian Warren. COUPLE OBSERVE 76th RANKIN, Ill. (AP) Mr. and Mrs. Sid Davis observe their 76th wedding anniversary today.

Their two daughters and two sons are at their parents' small farm home for the family party. Some of the Davis' 12 grandchildien, 29 -grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren also are present. Davis at one time operated farm of 1,300 acres near Oxford, and later he had another farm in the Hoopeston, area. He retired in 1938 and moved to this eastern Illinois community of about 800 persons. Davis was 97 years old last Wednesday, His wife is 94.
