Death was caused by apoplexy. Mr.

Roth was apparently In the best of health and upon retiring last evening, did not complain of any ailment. When Mrs. Stankevlch attempted to arouse him this morning, she found that life had expired. Coroner John V. Hubbard wa3 notified, and after an investigation, concluded that death was caused by apoplexy, and gave a permit for burial.

The body was removed to the home of Mr. Roth's son, Anton, Roth. of 189 Townsend street, by Undertaker Harding, who has charge of the funeral arrangements. Mr. Roth had been boarding at the Stankevlch boarding house for the past three weeks, in order to be near his work.

He was an oxpert machinist, and during his spare moments worked on several inventions. The funeral will be held from the home of Anton Roth, on Monday morning at 8.300 o'clock, and from the St. John's' German Catholic Church at 9 o'clock. The deceased is'surivved by the following children: Misses Catherine and Eva, Joseph. Anton, George and rotor Roth.
