A precious one from us has gone A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled. The flowers we place upon his grave may wither and decay, But the love of him who sleeps beneath Shall never fade away. Some day we hope to meet again Some day we know not when, To clasp his band in better land Never to part again. Gertrude Atherton's novel, "The Conqueror." is about Alexander.
