6 in the evening at the home of Mrs. Nels Lai son. The subject ot the lesson was: a Punch in Every Lunch box meal planning is a challenge to the ingenuity and imagination ot the patriotic home maker. Each lunch box should contain one third the total food supply tor the day, protective foods as well as energy foods. Too many people have the notion that a home-packed lunch means dry sandwiches, soggy pie lulu warm coffee left over lrom breakfast.

However, if the meal planner gives as much time and attention to the packed lunch as she would to the same meal served at home, the lunch may be nutritious, appetizing, and nomical. Leaflets containing meal recipes and lunch box suggestions were given out. A large attendance was present, two new mem-1 be i attending Misses Phyllis and Gertrude Grandchamp, and Mrs. Lawrence) Hayes and children motored to Marquette Sunday where they i visited with the Ernest Laviolette lamily and Mrs. Mary Wood.
