Weekend Storm With the advent of snow, Friday the Church Hill became a menace for motorists not because of the slippery condition but because of the presence of children on sleds, who insist on using this spot for tobogganing.

Harlan, small son of Mr. and Mrs. I a Rochefort, was yanked off his sled by an adult just in the nick of time to avert a catastrophe. for the Jewel Tea truck ran over, the sled as he took the ditch, in an effort to avoid hitting the child. The hill is a natural danger spot, with deep sloping shoulders, but driving excitement is very much heightened with the presence of children on sleds, right on the main highway.

If the youngsters use the sidewalks. then pedestrians must cope with the increased slippery condition as well as expect to be swept off their feet, momentarily.
