Oct. 18. Special) Wlllla mHarrlson Ackley. pioneer Delta county resident, died at the home of daughter, Oscar Johnson. In Rapid River 1:90 o'clock Tuesday tnornlnf.

Mr. Ackley was born In New York Jan. IS. 1851. and came to the Whlteffa hsettlement when he wu to years of age.

He wae engaged In lumbering for many years. He also served on the onvllle township board of education. Since the death of hta wife 30 years ago, Mr. Ackley had been making hla home with his daughter, Mrs. Johnson.

Other survivors are: another daughter. Mrs. Oiaf Hanson. Chicago; a son. Fred Ackley, Minneapolis; broother, Cslvtn, In California; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A alster. Mrs. John Darrow, died two years ago. The body wae taken to the 8wenson Brothers funeral home In Gladstone to be prepared for burial. Funeral services will he held at the Calvary Lutheran rhurch In Rapid River Thursday afternoon.

Burial will be In the Rapid River cemetery. Mrs. Hanson and a granddaughter. Mias Verona Johnson, will ar- r.ve from Chicago Wednesday morning to attend the funeral.
