Senator Rosenkranz today Introduced a bill providing for the naming by the governor of a board of censors of moving picture films, one to be a man at $1,500 a year and one a woman at $1,200 a year and expenses. All films must be approved and marked by the censors before they may be shown in Michigan and a fee of $2.50 for each is to be paid. In the senate this afternoon a bill to abolish the salt department passed the general order, but was later sent back there, because of some legal complications relative to a refund of certain moneys collected. This detail will be straightened out at once an dthe bill likely will be passed before the end of the present week. The concurrent resolution providing for the amendment to the federal constitution to elect United States Senators by direct vote passed the general order and is up for passage There was no discussion whatever.
