Compared with last season, duck hunters should score a higher take on the fust day as a result of having their starting time moved ahead to sunrise. They can look for a good supply of home-grown birds on most of the interior potholes, marshes, and beaver ponds when the reason gets under way. Duck flights which will push through Michigan this fall are predicted to be about the same as last sear when hunters jumped their kill to nearly birds.
